What a day. Actually...it was just a regular Friday.

Faffing around during the day, S-League match in the evening, mad rush to get story done in time for early offstone, still shack from Thursday, dreading 7.30am run with the unit guys on Saturday morning...bah.

To be fair, the match was quite exciting. I was rooting for SAF but Home came away with the win. I quite like them too and it was a pretty tactical game.

Yesterday was a busy day. Didn't feel much like an off day. Up early to file preview 2 for today's match, then talk at Bukit Panjang Government High, lunch with mom, then met NS and had beers in the afternoon - never a good idea in hindsight.

Then it was dins with Ms Lee before heading to Walas to catch Shirlynn and the Unexpected.

Can I just say that Shirlynn is HAWT. What IS IT with these alternative types. Irene was right...I do have a thing. For them. Anyways, here's Ms Lee and me...we're not drunk...honest. It's thundering and lightning-ing like the end of days outside. I'm hoping for a BEEG rain...maybe I can persuade myself to skip the run (again)...although I really need some exercise.

The Du on Sunday is gonna be a bitch-anna-half given my pathetic run training lately. Really hoping I will find some past form hidden under the layers of inactivity and that this will gel with my less-than-embarrassing biking to make for a satisfactory day. But I highly doubt it. Working in the afternoon will be a bitch. Ah well.
