Is everyone depressed at the same time ? Is there some global coordination effort like the tsunami relief work that somehow manages to get everyone down at the same time ?

I had at least three friends last night who felt a little depressed about different stuff. Alas, I had fallen asleep and was unable to be of any good to anyone.

I was tuckered out from giving the talk to the athletes last night at Blue Oasis in Bussorah Street. Man that was an ulu venue but apparently Team Singapore have some tie-up with them to use the place as a gathering spot or something. I didn't even dare to swig beer in case I set a bad example. But I had fun talking about column-writing and stuff and some of the guys had interesting ideas about what they wanted to say or put to paper. Hopefully we will see some good stuff coming out from them soon.

Then it was home to pack and prep for Kuwait. Can't believe I have to hustle to the airport by midnight tonight...I'm gonna be so sleepy by the time I get there. Luckily I will have a day to sort myself out, prep my equipment and get my bearings. Don't believe what they tell you...this travelling shit sucks.

But hey, I get the chance to hit the duty-free paradise at Do-Buy. That should be worth a few laughs if nothing else.
