Man the office just sucks the life outta me sometimes.

It's been just one day back and already I'm dreaming of the next getaway. Sigh. Guess I'm not cut out for this whole work thing. Either that or it's been the rainy Monday. Strange cuz I usually like weather that's as morose as I am.

Taiwan was alright in the end...7th after the pools, 7th at the end...72 starters...alright considering the month I was away staring at maps and computers...but the old legs did go kaput at the end which was a tad embarrasing...but still, top 8 is good enough for now.

Managed to get a few retro songs from uni-days into the ipod before heading up and was enjoying little trips down memory lane each time I plugged in to the tunes.

She's a star from James always gets me...what with lyrics like these:

And the groove is pretty uplifting I find...cheered me up no end especially at 4.30am sitting on the steps outside Heros House military hostel in Taipei with gusty winds and temps in the mid-teens...after a mere three hours of sleep and nursing a moderate alcohol buzz...seafood dinner with the pseudo-hongkies, taiwanese and assorted ruskie coaches was nice and amusing.

So back to training on Sunday, super-sore hamstrings, moderately sore glutes...sore upper-body...what a weekend. Saw Saw (the movie)and it wasn't bad but it was not Se7en...which still freaks me out a bit...looking forward to Shutter soon...and a bit of lying by the Desaru beach...ahhhhhh...
